It was a beautiful Saturday to explore a few garden nurseries in Honolulu. We started at the Koolau Farmers in Kalihi. A very nice shop with a good assortment of plants and supplies. Not a lot of container options though.
Next we ventured to the Ohana Green House. It's located in a very industrial part of town. Not really a nursery per se. Good place to buy hydroponic equipment and fertilizers for hydroponic systems.
Lastly we ventured to Home Depot. This garden center had a plethora of plants, containers and supplies. There are many helpful staff to advise you also. We purchased a dianthus for one of our containers. Amy loves the smell.
It was a good start. I have some ideas and pricing. More adventures to follow once we make it to Hawaii Kai and East Oahu.
